Meals on Wheels

FCCOA delivers hot and frozen meals to a client’s home. Both types of meals are nutritionally balanced food trays designed to help older adults receive proper nutrition.

FCCOA offers several different types of home-delivered meal programs. *Meals are provided on a temporary basis.

Central Midland’s Area on Aging and FCCOA determine eligibility for services through an assessment process. Priority is given to the client with the higher score. Clients will be informed of a start and stop date during the time of assessment and reassessment.

With the exception of Private Pay Meals, most are donation based; however, donations are encouraged and accepted. All donations received are put directly back into the program to help offset the cost of the service.

Clients that are terminated may be able to come back on the program later if their condition changes and there is a slot available in their area. Please contact the agency for more details.

*Determination will be made on a case by case basis and may require a nominal fee.

(FCCOA is 501(c)3 agency. All donations made to the agency may be considered tax deductible.)
